2025.09.19

Hanpass, a comprehensive financial platform for foreigners, announced on the 3rd that it has officially launched a global taxi calling service supporting 18 languages for foreigners residing in Korea and short-term travelers.

This service aims to eliminate language barriers and the inconvenience of authentication procedures faced by foreigners when traveling in Korea. The Hanpass app provides a one-stop solution, from searching for departure and arrival locations, checking estimated fares, calling a taxi, and making payments.

Through Split, the global mobility service platform, users can dispatch rides from Kakao T Blue Partners, Venti, Black, and Mobyeong Taxi. Payments can be made via the Hanpass app's Paywallet. Support for 18 languages, including English, Chinese, and Vietnamese, and safety features such as SOS emergency calls and calling friends, are also provided.

Hanpass has completed its comprehensive mobility service system with this taxi calling service, adding to its existing intercity and express bus reservations, KTX reservations, and airline tickets. It offers a variety of life-related features, including job search and recruitment, administrative services, and non-face-to-face document issuance, and is evolving into a "super app platform for foreigners."

Park Chang-heon, Director of Hanpass, stated, "The global taxi-hailing service is a crucial step forward in alleviating inconveniences in the lives of foreign customers." He added, "We plan to expand this feature to include the ability to call domestic mobility services like Grab and Go Taxi for family and friends abroad."
